Astrid Alexandra Keim

Alexandra Keim is a visual arts curator, CONTEMPORARY art consultant, story teller and weaver of fictitious stories and personal thoughts on art and life. She has been an advocate for the dialogue between contemporary art, science and technology for over two decades. Ms. Keim most notably created CAMAC, a multi disciplinary art centre in the village of Marnay-sur-Seine, France. 

Ms. Keim has served as jury member for the Canada Arts Council (Ottawa), advisor to the Unesco-Aschberg Arts Council (Paris) and most recently as Board Member of Plug-In Institute (Winnipeg) and Urban Shaman (Winnipeg). Her understanding of visual arts and arts management has seen her in leadership roles within various reputable museums and art galleries like the Confederation Art Centre in Charlottetown, PEI, the Esker Foundation, Calgary, the Canadian Museum for Human Rights, Winnipeg, and most recently as Director of la Maison des artistes francophones in Saint Boniface, Manitoba.  Ms. Keim graduated with Honours from the Alberta College of Art, Calgary, Alberta, and received her Masters degree from Chelsea College of Art (MFA), UK. Keim is fluent in English, Spanish and French.
